Export your keywords from Semrush
Export the keyword list you want to cover as a CSV. Start with 20 to 50 high-intent keywords rather than your whole list.

Import them as prompts
Rewrite the keywords as buyer questions, then open your property's prompts in Spyglasses and choose Import Prompts. Paste one prompt per line, or upload a CSV.

Score outlets with your Authority Score (API)
Generate an organization API key under Organization Settings, then post your domains with baseline source semrush_as. Each result adds an aipvsByob block next to the standard score.

Prompt import and the API work on every Spyglasses plan. The AIPVS endpoint uses an organization API key, which admins and owners can generate.
Score new outlets as they come in
If your team keeps a running list of outlets with their Authority Score, an automation tool can score each new one with the AIPVS API.
- Trigger on a new row in your outlet sheet or PR tracker.
- Send one POST to /api/v1/ai-impact with the domain and its Authority Score.
- Write the AI-adjusted score back to the same row.

Do I need to connect my Semrush account?
No. You bring the data across yourself: a keyword export for prompts, or Authority Score values in an API call. Spyglasses never needs your Semrush login.
How does Authority Score change the AI Placement Value Score?
Spyglasses uses your Authority Score as the organic baseline, then multiplies it by the AI Impact Multiplier, which reflects whether AI assistants can reach the outlet to cite it and how much it feeds the data AI models learn from. You get both the standard score and the baseline-adjusted score in the response.
Can I use other SEO tools for the baseline?
Yes. The same endpoint accepts Ahrefs DR, Moz DA, Majestic TF or a custom 0 to 100 scale.
Should I replace Semrush with Spyglasses?
