What is the AI Search Citation Optimizer?
It tells you why AI assistants aren't quoting your page, and then fixes it. It scores your content the way ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Claude each decide what to cite, gives you one list of changes to make, and rewrites the page for you. Then it scores the rewrite so you can see whether it worked.
How is this different from a prompt tracker?
Prompt trackers run prompts and report what came back, which changes session to session. The Citation Optimizer works on the steps before the answer: the searches each assistant runs for itself, the ranking, the part of your page it actually reads, and how it picks passages. Those steps follow published, repeatable rules, so you can work on them and see the result.
How much does it cost?
Scoring costs no credits on any plan. Every plan includes a number of pages a month, and a page counts once however many times you score it. A rewrite costs 10 credits. Brand plans include 10 rewrites a month and Agency plans include 50; after that, each is billed per use. Writer briefs come out of the same allowance.
Which AI assistants does it cover?
ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Claude. The two Google surfaces are scored separately, because they end up picking different pages. The free plan covers ChatGPT against a single search; paid plans cover all four against a full set of searches.
Does it write content from scratch?
For a page you already have, it rewrites what's there: putting the answer first, tightening passages, and carrying the specifics into the part each assistant reads, plus a new title, meta description and structured data. For a page that doesn't exist yet, start from a keyword and it writes a section-by-section brief your writer can work from. Neither one invents facts, statistics or credentials.
Can I drive it from an AI assistant?
Yes. Scoring, rewriting and re-scoring all work through the Spyglasses MCP server, so a connected assistant like ChatGPT or Claude can work on your content in a conversation. Everything stays inside your own properties, and nothing is published on your behalf.
