Spyglasses + Claude
Ask Claude about your AI visibility, and get reports, gap briefs and pitch lists back.
Connect the Spyglasses MCP server to Claude and your AI visibility data is one question away. Claude reads your projects, metrics and citations, then turns them into a client report, a competitor brief or a pitch list. You sign in once. There's no API key to copy.

Share of voice rose from 18% to 22% on ChatGPT. Gemini is flat. Answers now say “waterproof to 20,000 mm” in 7 of 10 checks, up from 4.

Summit Gear, up 5 points. Two new reviews on Trail Weekly are cited in most of its wins. Want a pitch list built around that outlet?
What you can do
Jobs teams hand to Claude once Spyglasses is connected.
01
A weekly client report
Ask for this week's update and Claude pulls the trend, the message drift and the biggest movers, then writes it in your voice. Paste it into an email or a deck.
“Write a weekly AI visibility update for my Acme Outdoor project. Lead with what changed, then the one thing to do next.”

A competitor gap brief
Find the questions where competitors show up and you don't, the pages AI cites for them, and what to publish or pitch to close the gap.
“Where is Summit Gear winning AI answers that we're missing? Give me the top five gaps and a fix for each.”

Build a pitch list
Ask Claude for the outlets AI cites for your competitors, score them by AI Placement Value, then add the best ones to a pitch list. Name a new list and it gets created. Adding outlets is free.
get_citation_intelligencescore_publisher_valueadd_pitch_list_publishersAdds rows to a pitch list in your account.
04
Score and rewrite a page
Point Claude at a page and the searches AI runs for your topic. The Citation Optimizer scores how well the page matches them, drafts a rewrite, and scores the draft so you can see the change.
list_tracked_fanoutsscore_citation_auditrevise_citation_auditrescore_revisionRewrites spend credits. Scoring counts toward your monthly page allowance. Nothing is published.

The MCP server works on every Spyglasses plan, including Pay As You Go.
Put the weekly report on a schedule
If your Claude setup can run a task on a schedule, such as a scheduled task or a routine, point it at the weekly report prompt and the update shows up without anyone asking for it.
- Save the report prompt once, with the project and the format you want.
- Run it weekly as a scheduled task or routine, where your Claude plan supports one.
- Send the draft to yourself first, and forward it once it reads right.
Try this prompt
Paste it into Claude once the connector is set up. Swap in your own project name.
Using Spyglasses, analyze my Acme Outdoor project for the last 7 days. Tell me how share of voice moved on each platform, which key messages AI repeats or drops, and which competitor gained the most. End with three actions for next week.Frequently asked questions
What to know before you connect Claude.
What data can Claude see?
Only what your Spyglasses account can see. The connector signs in as you, so Claude reads the organizations and properties you're a member of and nothing else. Public report tools also work with any report's share link.
Can Claude change anything in my account?
The reporting tools create, edit and spend nothing. A few tools do write inside your account: scoring runs count toward your monthly page allowance, page rewrites and briefs create drafts and spend credits, and adding outlets to a pitch list is free. Nothing gets published, and no live page changes.
Which Spyglasses plans include the Claude integration?
All of them. The MCP server works on every plan.
Do I need an API key?
No. The connector uses a sign-in (OAuth). The REST API uses a per-property key, but that's a separate path for code and automation tools.
Is this the same as tracking what Claude says about my brand?
No. This integration brings your Spyglasses data into Claude. Daily prompt tracking runs on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and you can add Claude and Perplexity tracking as add-ons.
Do I need Claude Code?
No. The connector works in Claude itself. If you use Claude Code, the spyglasses plugin adds the connector plus guided skills in one install.
