AI Visibility Reports Dashboard

The AI Visibility Reports dashboard shows all reports run for your property. Each report tests how AI assistants recommend your brand across multiple platforms and discovery queries.

What You'll Learn

In this guide, you'll learn:

  • How to understand report statuses and scores
  • How to view, download, and manage reports
  • How location settings affect your reports
  • What to do if your site can't be crawled

Reports Table

The main table displays all reports for your property with:

ColumnDescription
Consistency ScoreHow accurately your brand appears in AI responses (0-100)
Date RunWhen the report was generated
StatusCurrent state of the report (completed, processing, failed)
ActionsView, download PDF, download PowerPoint, delete

Understanding Consistency Score

The consistency score measures how accurately your brand is represented by AI platforms. A higher score means AI assistants understand your business, product, or service, and can describe it correctly when users ash about it.

Scores typically range from:

  • 70-100: Strong AI accuracy - only minor differences in how AI describes features, differentiators, etc.
  • 50-69: Some consistency - core description may be correct but key components like target customer or key features are not correct.
  • 0-50: Unknown or incorrect - Your brand is not included in AI models or is confused with a different brand

Report Statuses

  • Completed: Report finished successfully and is ready to view
  • Processing: Report is currently running (can take 5-15 minutes)
  • Failed: Report encountered an error - check site accessibility

Location Settings

If a location is set for your property in /docs/dashboards/settings, it will appear on this page. Location affects which discovery queries are generated and how AI platforms interpret searches.

Local businesses should always set a location to get the most relevant results. Without location context, AI platforms may recommend businesses anywhere in the world rather than locally relevant options.

To set or update your location:

  1. Go to Settings from the property sidebar
  2. Navigate to the Reports tab
  3. Enter your city, region/state, and country
  4. Save changes

Future reports will use this location for location-aware queries like "best [service] near [location]."

Brand Snapshot

When you run a report, Spyglasses first creates a brand snapshot by analyzing your website. We select the home page plus several other high-value pages to build a structured understanding of your brand, including:

  • Company name and description
  • Product category
  • Target audience and customer segments
  • Key features and problems solved
  • Pricing model

This snapshot informs how we generate discovery queries and identify relevant competitors.

Viewing Reports

Click View to open the full report, which includes:

  • Summary metrics (consistency, share of voice, mentions, citations)
  • Performance by AI platform
  • Discovery query breakdown
  • Competitor analysis
  • Grounding search rankings
  • Citation sources

Downloading Reports

Reports can be downloaded in two formats:

  • PDF: Best for sharing via email or archiving
  • PowerPoint: Best for presentations and stakeholder reports

Downloads include all charts, metrics, and analysis from the online report. Spyglasses customers on an [/pricing](Agency plan) can white-label these reports.

Deleting Reports

Click the delete icon to remove a report. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Historical metrics derived from deleted reports will also be removed.

Only delete reports if:

  • A report failed or has incorrect data
  • You're cleaning up test reports
  • You need to remove outdated historical data

Site Accessibility Issues

If Spyglasses cannot crawl your site to generate a brand snapshot, reports will fail. Common causes include:

  • Robots.txt blocking: Your robots.txt may be blocking our crawler
  • Cloudflare or security rules: Bot protection may be preventing access
  • Site requires JavaScript to render: Our crawler mimics AI assistants, which don't browse with JavaScript enabled. If our crawler can't see your site, neither can AI!

For detailed troubleshooting, see Is Your Site Visible to AI Assistants?

Running New Reports

To run a new report:

  1. Click the "Run Report" button
  2. Wait for the report to complete (4-5 minutes)
  3. View results when status changes to "Completed"

Reports consume credits based on your plan. Check Settings > Billing to see your credit balance.

Scheduling Reports

Rather than running reports manually, you can schedule them to run automatically:

  1. Go to Settings from the property sidebar
  2. Navigate to the Reports tab
  3. Select a frequency: Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly
  4. Save changes

Scheduled reports run automatically and appear in this dashboard when complete.
